# Pilot Runner: Make It Happen

Use this as the operator checklist for the first live pilot.

## Phase 1: Build The Notebook

1. Open `https://notebooklm.google.com`.
2. Create a notebook named `Claude Certification Quest`.
3. Add `notebooklm-import-bundle.md` as the first source.
4. Add these links as extra sources:
   - `https://platform.claude.com/docs/en/build-with-claude/prompt-engineering/overview`
   - `https://www.coursera.org/partners/anthropic`
5. Ask NotebookLM:

```text
Create a beginner study guide for this notebook. Organize it as a game map with worlds, missions, badges, and a final boss.
```

6. Save the response as a note named `Study Map`.

## Phase 2: Generate Study Tools

Ask NotebookLM:

```text
Create beginner flashcards for the glossary, safety rules, prompt formula, verification, and Claude workflows.
```

Save as `Memory Coins`.

Ask NotebookLM:

```text
Create a World 0 checkpoint quiz with 5 beginner questions. Ask one at a time and wait for the learner's answer.
```

Save as `World 0 Checkpoint`.

Ask NotebookLM:

```text
Create listening notes for an Audio Overview of this notebook. Include 5 things to listen for, 3 questions to answer after listening, and 1 action to take after listening.
```

Save as `Podcast Review Notes`.

## Phase 3: Run World 0 Yourself

Complete:

- Define `AI assistant`.
- Define `prompt`.
- Define `source`.
- Define `chat`.
- Ask Claude to explain AI assistant in plain language.
- Save one improved beginner prompt.

Pass rule:

You can explain the four definitions without reading them.

## Phase 4: Recruit First Test Learner

Choose one person who:

- Can use email and a browser.
- Has little or no AI experience.
- Does not know GitHub, Netlify, Vercel, coding, APIs, or deployment.

Give them only:

- NotebookLM link.
- Notebook name.
- World 0 mission.
- No extra lecture.

Observe where they get stuck.

## Phase 5: Mixed Group Test

Run Worlds 0 through 2 with a mixed group.

Standard learners complete core missions.

Faster learners complete XP Boosts.

Success means:

- Beginners are not lost.
- Faster learners are not bored.
- Everyone writes one strong prompt.
- Everyone identifies 3 things not to paste into AI.
- Everyone performs one source-checking task.

## Phase 6: Final Boss

Ask NotebookLM:

```text
Create a 20-question beginner certification practice quiz from this notebook. Mix multiple choice, true/false, and short answer. Do not show answers until I respond. Grade at the end and tell me what to review.
```

Pass rule:

80 percent or better plus completed AI User Passport.

## Notes To Capture

- Where did learners pause?
- Which words were confusing?
- Which mission took longer than 15 minutes?
- Did the game language feel useful or too childish?
- Did learners actually verify an AI answer?
- Did learners remember the safety rules?
